Laurie Abildso, Council Director

Laurie is a native of Baltimore, MD, and relocated to Morgantown in the summer of 2004. She and her husband quickly fell in love with this wonderful university town and are very happy to call Morgantown home. Laurie discovered the joy of running in high school and continues to run as a way to find peace and feel strong. Meghan Durst, Founding Coach

Meghan was raised in on a farm in Preston County, WV. While she spent much of her childhood running around the farm, it wasn't until her senior year of college that Meghan realized how much she loved it. She has participated in lots of running races, from 1-milers to a marathon, and now competes mostly in triathlons. When not training, Meghan finds time to devote to her full time job as an on-air personality at WVAQ.
